These are the fourth qualities I believe every social media manager needs in order to be successful in 2024 and beyond. They are:
1) Be A Jack Of All Trades:
Versatility is key. Learn how to juggle multiple tasks: Content Creation, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Content Creator Management, Video Scripting & Editing, Photo Editing & beyond. Mastering tools like Canva for graphic design and Premiere Pro / CapCut for video editing will be incredibly helpful for your journey.
2) Have A Designated Speciality In Social Media Management:
Of the long laundry lists of potential duties for a social media manager, choose one that you're especially interested in and master it.
3) Have A Finely Attuned No Sh*t Radar:
This will serve you in discerning who should be you client and who shouldn't. Honestly, an ultimate skill.
